Been having rather gloomy weather here in the UK. Saturday, just gone, was the first time I actually saw the sun in a while. That and the coldness and I hate the cold and so does Kharman.
Anyway, certain changes will be made to this site so if you visit frequently then you may notice.
I’m still on course with my second book. I’m making really slow progress on my graphic novel project and can’t guarantee it will be completed this year. And as all should know doing that type of work can be laborious plus I work full time. With the work I’m juggling with concepts and sketches. Seeing that they want to do a new Superman has somewhat inspired me.
Another rejection? Well, what am I complaining about now? Let me explain, briefly… I only just received an email from Draft2Digital stating my book got rejected by Hoopla — another self-publishing platform. I was rather dismayed and the reason stating was a “quality issue”, which didn’t say much. I however chased it up; tried to understand what was meant by quality issue. I received another Draft2Digital email telling me that Hoopla doesn’t give them much details only that the content somehow violated their policy.
With so many companies around Draft2Digital acts as a bridge or a middleman, saving you the hassle of publishing your novel to each and every one platform. And as I don’t know these platforms I’m not gonna be aware of their polices. The communication, between them, is non existent. Transactions are made through Drarft2Digital.
I expect I’ll get more rejections as times goes on. Rejections have been commonplace in every aspect in my life and my publishing ambition is no different.
