My Mind Was Starving

technology computer head health

The weather, here in the UK, has picked up but in all honesty it’s like having Autumn and Summer rolled into one. Kind of reminds me of that movie “Geostorm”, where they’re controlling the weather. A great concept I might add and one I wouldn’t mind borrowing. Just joking. And speaking of concepts I have some great ones. With the comic, I’m doing, will be about young people with special abilities. It’ll be similar to X-Men and other shows so yeah I’ve kinda been inspired by stuff like that so the android story will be shelved and as I work full-time it’ll be a challenge to do. The script is in progress and my second book in the Kharman series will be out next year, so watch this space…

Mind Starving? What Do You Mean?

With regards to the pandemic I haven’t been able to borrow books from my old library. Sure I can purchase books however I’m on a budget and am currently reading a Kindle version of a book, I’m currently not keen on. So over a year i have had nothing to read and my mind was starving of fictional stories. I like the feel of holding a physical book and turning the page. For me it is the best feeling in the world. So if you stop reading then you’re writing will cease improving. Being an author and continuing to gather books is essential for ones growth just as food essential too.

Now my local old libraries are funny. One building was closed for whatever reason and was not even obvious despite the light being on each time I passed, so I have no idea what was going on. I eventually had to join another library in my old area of London. I’ve taken out 6 books and two weeks isn’t enough time to read and finish all of them fortunately I can renew them and surprisingly can borrow up to 12 books. 12 books! That’s any bookworms’ dream.

So I was able to feed my mind and was well chuffed at acquiring more books.
