Another Tedious Update

The Tribulations of Kharman

Just a quick update as I’m an extremely busy person, and author trying to get my life on track. I pay bills and work just like most ordinary people. The cost of living has gone up which has affected most people, myself included. Just because I’ve written and published one book it doesn’t stop there, the work never stops and I’m sure you all appreciate how difficult it is to find a career that pays well, particularly here in the UK.

One speck of good news is that I can now run adverts on Amazon for my Space Opera book, however getting them to hit the mark can be tricky. I now have a hardback version of my book. You’ll notice the cover is different where illustrations of Kharman and Evree are broader and in an embrace. I wanted to ensure the cover had that passionate, romantic, sexy look to it. So you can get the book here!

The second novel is finished and I’m currently doing a hard edit before handing it over to another editor. Am just making sure I have the money for whomever I deem professional enough to undertake this task. I made an error, a few years back, by selecting the wrong editor. This person wasn’t professional at all. Don’t make the same mistake! Fortunately I hadn’t paid him, but wasted time. I detailed this in a prior blog post. It’s best to select someone who is a stranger still but is reputable. Now I didn’t know this person but got acquainted, at a “self-publishing class” (another complete waste of time and money).

We’re currently in June 2022. The second novel has a name, I just won’t be posting it now, but perhaps in a later blog post and I anticipated the book would be out this year but I may stretch it to late 2022 or next year — 2023, depending on my schedule and what other factors crop up. There’s really no rush as people, who’d bought my first novel, The Tribulations of Kharman, last year, still haven’t finished reading it. Also I’m working on a small comic, set in a fictional African country, which again is taking time. But may also not see the light of day till 2023. I know I stated this year to but realistically I’m working on a multitude of other projects that are just as important.
