It’s a new year now. 2024, and I am looking forward to some big changes in life and hopefully positive ones. I’ve started by throwing away a lot of things. Items, around my room, collecting dust and stuff that wasn’t really serving me in a positive way. I had been meaning to discard all this nonsense. I hope you all and my readers are doing well, and moving up in life.
I’ve gone over the edits done by the proofreader. I had the time too as I am away from my current day job and this has been a refreshing time for me to get things done. This editor initially made a few comments, as a reader also, where they were having trouble understanding the first couple of pages. Granted it starts immediately after the events of the first novel so I had to explain who some of the characters are. I have taken the comments on board and made necessary adjustments. Corrections were also made, mainly towards the end of the manuscript. Now I will consider looking for a copy editor to go through it.
Overall the second novel will be in publication at some point this year and is almost three years now since my first book, The Tribulations of Kharman, came out. Time certainly flies.
